Treasury Cash and Banking Operations Apprentice
Join Allstate’s Cash and Banking Operations Team as an apprentice to manage banking activities and gain hands-on experience in a 12–24-month program. Your Role Key responsibilities include:
- Consolidate and enter wires in the Treasury workstation accurately and timely to support short-term trading decisions.
- Prepare wire activity reports and analyze to optimize wire and cash flow activity.
- Maintain sound administration skills including documentation, follow-up, and adherence to guidelines.
- Perform mission-critical tasks during business resumption events.
- Provide optimal customer support to internal clients, colleagues, and external financial service partners.
- Manage over 1,200 bank accounts including signers, functions, bank relationships, and funding compliance.
About You The company is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:
- Currently pursuing an associate’s degree from a community college or trade school (bachelor’s degree or higher not eligible).
- Proven organizational and time management skills with ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with ability to develop clear storylines and presentations.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
- High accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to proofread own work.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; quick learner of database software.
- Experience with banking terminology, Treasury Workstation, and US banking system is a plus.
