We are searching for a talented Social Worker-Counselor-Lic Indep $7,500 new hire sign-on bonus for this position. Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the Manager of Social Work, performs a wide variety of duties in the hospital setting providing behavioral health and complex care management services to Southcoast Health patients across the hospital system.
  • Duties include conducting behavioral health assessments and providing behavioral health treatment including individual and family psychotherapy utilizing brief treatment modalities.
  • Serves as a consultant and resource to hospital staff in the management and treatment of behavioral health disorders.
  • Collaborates and coordinates with complex/chronic care management and longitudinal community support services.

Requirements

  • A Masters Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited college or university.
  • Current Massachusetts Licensed Independent Clinical Social Work (LICSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Experience with electronic medical record documentation preferred.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
