Remote · USA Full-time New today

Description Are you skilled at connecting talented veterinarians with opportunities that align with their schedules and professional goals? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. As a Relief Staffing Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting hospital operations by building and maintaining a strong pipeline of relief veterinarians for our growing network of UrgentVet and General Practice hospitals nationwide. The Relief Staffing Specialist is responsible for identifying, engaging, and onboarding relief veterinarians while ensuring a seamless experience from initial outreach through their first scheduled shifts. This role partners closely with Recruiting, Scheduling Operations Specialists, Practice Managers, and Regional Leadership to ensure hospitals have access to qualified relief veterinarians and that new hires are successfully integrated into our scheduling platform, Vetcher. In this role, you will manage the full-cycle onboarding process for relief veterinarians, including compliance. You will also assist relief veterinarians with onboarding logistics such as scheduling platform setup and coordination with internal teams to ensure readiness for their first relief shift. This is a remote position reporting to the Director of Relief Staffing. Strong time management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote environment are critical to success. Compensation for this role includes a base salary plus quarterly performance-based bonuses

  • Facilitate introductions and coordination between Relief DVMs and Practice Managers, Regional Medical Directors, and Regional Directors as needed to support scheduling and hospital coverage.
  • Conduct targeted re-engagement outreach to relief veterinarians who have not yet completed their first shift, providing support and guidance to help them become active on the schedule.
  • Maintain and update the candidate database and CRM (Pinpoint) to ensure accurate records, engagement tracking, and pipeline management.
  • Provide market intelligence on relief veterinarian trends and competitive insights to the Recruiting Team.
