The Role An opportunity exists for a founding Head of Business Development to establish and scale U.S. market presence, with a focus on direct-to-consumer growth. This leader will own revenue generation, build strategic partnerships, and act as a key commercial voice within the organisation. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution to bring integrated, AI-powered marketing solutions to market.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive U.S. revenue growth, managing full sales lifecycle
  • Identify, pitch, and close mid-to-large DTC brands
  • Build and manage a high-quality sales pipeline
  • Establish strategic partnerships across key platforms and ecosystems
  • Develop co-marketing and referral initiatives
  • Represent the organisation at industry events and build market presence
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure client success and retention
  • Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years in business development, partnerships, or growth roles
  • Strong track record of closing high-value deals in DTC or digital marketing
  • Solid experience with Shopify and paid media channels (Meta, Google, TikTok)
  • Established network within the U.S. DTC ecosystem is an asset
  • Experience in agency, MarTech, or growth platforms preferred
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in ambiguity
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
