B2C Copywriter

Our client, a pet/animal product brand is looking for a Copywriter with B2C experience to support their team on a remote basis. The Copywriter is responsible for creating compelling and engaging content that drives brand awareness and conversion for our clients. This role involves crafting persuasive copy for various platforms, including advertisements, social media, and marketing materials. Equine writing experience or passion for equine highly preferred!

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative and persuasive copy for advertising campaigns, website content, and social media platforms.
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to create cohesive messaging across all channels.
• Conduct research to understand target audiences and market trends to inform copywriting strategies.
• Edit and proofread copy to ensure clarity, grammar, and consistency with brand guidelines.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of copy to optimize engagement and conversion rates.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a copywriter or related role, with a strong portfolio of work.
• Experience writing for retail and/or DTC
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Familiarity with B2C copywriting practices and techniques.
• Experience in writing ad copy and social media content.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and SEO best practices.
