Job Posting: Production Artist Job Summary The Production Artist will support Marketing Operations on projects that drive the brands to meet business and marketing strategies. The Production Artist will help produce best-in-class materials, on target, and on time. The Production Artist ensures file accuracy and preparation that results in proper production that meets the highest quality standards. The position provides key executional support across work types and project initiatives. The focus is on the executional end of the spectrum here – on supporting the work. Production Artist is primarily concerned with supporting the needs of the team and the company. This position requires working closely with our designers to ensure precision of graphic elements and preparation of files for print or digital publication. You’ll be blending both creativity and technical skills to format layouts and/or images.

Responsibilities

Overall Duties & Responsibilities Statement Responsible for production design execution that supports our brands, business strategy, and project objectives under the direction provided by the Graphic & Digital Designers Breakdown Execute, package and deliver image assets on a full range of brand and sales initiatives across packaging, point-of-sale, catalogs, sales sheets, promotions, digital banners, and web/email/social assets as applicable Replicate template-based designs with high attention to detail to ensure that all brand guidelines are met and accurate Collaborates with fellow marketing and communication teammates to identify project requirements and creative deliverables that support the program objectives Confirm all graphics and material embellishment standards are met per design Continual quality control and tracks artwork to completion Experience Minimum 3 years of experience as a production artist with in graphic and/or digital design production Demonstrated knowledge of methods and techniques in the areas of graphic design, layout, type design, basic image retouching and delivering assets in the correct format for both print and web applications Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite in a Mac environment (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) and Microsoft Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint) Current portfolio demonstrating relevant work experience showing technical expertise Agency experience (in-house or creative shop) a plus Apparel experience a plus Education and/or certification requirements Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in art/technical related field or equivalent experience Skills Unwavering attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a relentless commitment to quality and efficiency Flexible nature with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks/activities simultaneously with a sense of urgency to changes and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Positive “can do” attitude while maintaining a high level of professionalism and can take direction well Excellent time management, communication skills (verbal and written), and relationship building / interpersonal skills (positive, energetic and open-minded) Works well collaboratively with a team as well as individually Leadership Competencies Expected for this Role Emerging Leader Global Agility – Open to diverse views, adapts to new ways of working Purposeful Integrity – Demonstrates ethical behavior, follows through on commitments Strategic Foresight – Understands team goals, asks strategic questions Customer Centric Innovation – Suggests improvements from customer feedback, tries new methods Urgency for Impact – Act quickly and take ownership of outcomes Bold Accountability – Own your work and deliver consistently strong results Empowered Collaboration – Share ideas, listens well, collaborates with peers Why Kontoor Brands?
