As a Director of Global Data Strategy, you will lead our Global Data Strategy group, driving the development and implementation of centralized reporting capabilities, process enhancements, and automation to provide cutting-edge data insights and analytics for our Risk Finance organization.

Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced and visionary leader to join our Risk Finance team as a Director of Global Data Strategy. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data strategy that drives business growth, improves decision-making, and enhances our competitive advantage. You will lead a team of data scientists and analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality data insights and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

As a Director of Global Data Strategy, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the strategic evaluation of arenaflex credit metrics, credit provision, and reserve for Senior Management in Risk and Finance
• Owning precise information assets/packages within Risk Finance, and becoming a subject matter expert of the applicable tools (troubleshooting issues, reconciling results, identifying enhancements and automation possibilities, and teaching other customers to drive adoption)
• Developing and maintaining preferred and ad-hoc reports used by Risk Finance and/or business partners; providing credit-associated analytical support
• Developing and presenting key analyses and recommendations to Senior Management
• Building and maintaining relationships across Risk Finance portfolio groups and with partners in Risk, Controllership, Tech, etc.
• Providing decision-aid with a strong emphasis on growing analytics that identify trends and opportunities within the portfolio which can be used to optimize Business and Risk decisions

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Advanced experience working with a combination of the following: SQL/Hive, Power BI/Tableau, Python/R, VBA, TM1
• Experience working with a sophisticated level of Excel and PowerPoint required
• Experience in ML modeling is a plus
• Solid economic and analytical skills; ability to work with large datasets and draw significant conclusions, empowering our business partners to make smart, data-driven decisions
• Superior attention to detail, alongside exemplary organizational and problem-solving skills
• Must be results-driven and proactive with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work within tight timelines
• Desire to work on ambiguous tasks, growing clarity while achieving successful and significant outcomes
• A strong work-ethic and strong interpersonal skills, showcasing the ability to build and maintain relationships and successfully collaborate with team members to achieve goals
• Experience working with a sophisticated level of Excel and PowerPoint required
• Master's degree in advanced mathematics or statistical discipline required

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is $55.00 to $85.00 hourly + bonus + equity (if relevant) + benefits. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
