Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Coordinator, you will:
- Promote and sell air journeys to the traveling public or freight forwarders
- Provide assistance with passenger check-in and load acceptance
- Interpret authorities' guidelines and requirements for domestic and international journeys or shipment shipments
- Meet and dispatch planes within set-up times
- Provide assistance to distressed passengers and clients
- Protect business assets and revenue
- Possess the physical capability and dexterity to perform various job-related duties
- Use organizational skills to perform multiple tasks within a limited timeframe
- Be self-motivated and require minimum supervision
- Respond and assist during safety and emergency situations
- Follow internal and external regulations and procedures
- May be required to drive and operate air stairs to board and disembark passengers
- Be responsible for the overall performance in the work location and may be required to lead and direct the work of other employees
- May be required to perform Passenger Operation Control capabilities, including air-to-ground communication and Tower capabilities
All You'll Need for Success
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- A high school degree or GED
- The ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
- Bilingual language skills are required in some locations
- A valid driver's license, as required by local authorities
- Must satisfy FAA background checks to qualify for unescorted access to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
- Must be able to obtain suitable airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable
- Ability to work abnormal and/or prolonged hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to work on a regular and timely basis
