Job Summary

As a Member Services Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our Member Florists via phone and email. You'll respond to inquiries, resolve order disputes, and process requests using our internal computer applications. Key Responsibilities

* Respond to questions regarding the member's statement and florist order disputes via email and by phone as appropriate.

  • Professionally respond to incoming customer calls and emails, providing accurate and timely resolutions to their inquiries.
  • Process requests using internal computer applications, verifying and validating all information provided by the member prior to submission.
  • Accurately document all calls in the 360 application, ensuring that all interactions are recorded and easily accessible for future reference.
  • Consistently achieve key indicators and performance standards as defined by management, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in customer service.
  • Provide customers with quality service by following the defined company policies, processes, and procedures, ensuring that all interactions are professional and courteous.
  • Read and retain information from departmental memorandums, websites, and training materials to effectively service customers and stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing on-the-job training, including one-on-one sessions with members of management and peer coaching, to continuously improve your skills and knowledge.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing business requirements.

What We Seek

* High school diploma or general equivalency diploma; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Inbound call center experience is desirable, but not required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Internet navigation, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems.
  • Clear problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions, demonstrating a proactive and solution-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent grammar skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to proofread and edit written communication.
  • Clear speaking voice, with the ability to communicate effectively over the phone and in person.
  • Good listening skills, with the ability to actively listen to customers and respond to their needs.
  • Good typing/keyboarding skills, with the ability to type accurately and efficiently for extended periods.
  • Ability to handle pressure professionally and to exhibit a calm disposition, even in high-stress situations.
  • Ability to show empathy and be persuasive, with a strong customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to control the call, with the ability to navigate complex conversations and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Good follow-up skills, with the ability to ensure that all interactions are followed up on and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Ability to use computer and keyboard for extended periods of time, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
