Job Summary

As a Technical Support Engineer on our Specialized Help Design and Automation team, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient help systems and automation tools to support arenaflex's complex products and services. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, design solutions, and implement changes that drive business results. Your expertise will be essential in creating a seamless customer experience, resolving complex technical issues, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and implement efficient help systems and automation tools to support arenaflex's complex products and services

  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement solutions
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including runbooks, knowledge bases, and technical guides
  • Collaborate with product teams to understand product roadmaps, identify areas for improvement, and design solutions that meet customer needs
  • Design and implement automation tools to streamline support processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs
  • Develop and maintain expertise in arenaflex's products and services, staying up-to-date with the latest features, updates, and releases
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify areas for improvement and design solutions that meet customer needs
  • Participate in the development of arenaflex's technical documentation, including user guides, technical notes, and release notes

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • At least 3 years of experience in technical support, help design, or automation
  • Strong understanding of form control tools, including GitHub, with experience in expanding, combining, pull requests, audit cycles, and resolving conflicts
  • Proficiency in Gradle, with experience in managing and orchestrating project builds and dependencies
  • Strong understanding of Java, with experience in designing and implementing automation tools and scripts
  • Experience in designing and implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in creating comprehensive documentation and technical guides

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in designing and implementing GRPC services, including handling service-to-service IPC calls and GRPC scenarios

  • Familiarity with Linux and Docker, with experience in working with Debian and Alpine
  • Experience in building dashboards and data visualizations
  • Familiarity with Zendesk or other ticketing systems, with experience in supporting framework automation
  • Knowledge of and enthusiasm for visibility tooling and best practices
