Key Responsibilities
As an Experienced Data Analyst on our Transportation Analytics team, you'll be responsible for:
- Working with large, messy, disparate datasets to perform ad-hoc analyses and provide essential business insights. Develop ETLs or strategies to pull data from multiple sources and centralize it in a single table.
- Creating data visualizations to display and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges. Engage with cross-functional teams to establish credibility and analyze stakeholder needs to share relevant information.
- Partnering with Operations, Finance, and Product groups to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and latency across multiple operations and systems.
- Leveraging scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate tasks for reporting, such as screenshots, metrics prioritization, and outlier recognition.
- Documenting your approaches and sharing your expertise with colleagues. Mentor your peers as you become a Subject Matter Expert.
Essential Qualifications
* Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to manage data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity (2-4 years of experience).
- Creativity with a User Experience focus to develop impactful Tableau Dashboards (1-2 years of experience).
- Business Operations Fluency, with the ability to recognize and root-cause business problems. A Supply Chain background, ideally with transportation experience.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau.
- Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations.
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
- Experience with data manipulation tools, including Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc.
