Our team of educators, coaches, and education tech experts is committed to providing every middle and high school student in the U.S. with free, life-changing coaching. The Role
As a chat-based mental health coach at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in supporting young people through our online platform. You'll provide on-demand and weekly coaching to students from diverse and historically marginalized communities, using empathy and awareness to help them navigate life's challenges. You'll work closely with licensed Coach Supervisors to ensure that you're equipped to handle crisis-based chats and other high-pressure situations.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide on-demand and weekly coaching to young people through our chat platform
* Use empathy and awareness to support students from diverse and historically marginalized communities
* Follow established protocols, especially during crisis-based chats, with support from licensed Coach Supervisors
* Continually learn and adapt to new online platforms and tools with ongoing training and support
* Work independently and as part of a team to support students and colleagues
What You'll Need
* Experience in mental health, youth work, or coaching
* Reliable laptop or computer (no tablets or cell phones) and internet with a minimum 50 mbps download speed
* A quiet, distraction-free workspace
* Must reside & be in the U.S. for the duration of your contract with arenaflex
