Role: full-stack web developer Location: Riverside, CA (100% remote)/Must live in CA Type: 6 Month Contract + Interview Details: 2 Zoom Interviews Job Summary Requirements: We require a seasoned, skilled full-stack web developer who can join the team quickly and begin coding immediately. Required Qualifications: Experience: 7+ years of professional software development experience with Java. Java Frameworks: Strong proficiency and hands-on experience with at least one of the following modern Java frameworks:

  • Micronaut
  • Quarkus
  • Spring Boot (with a focus on microservices architectures)

API Development: Demonstrable experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.

  • Familiarity with SOAP web services is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of various API authentication schemes (e.g., OAuth2, JWT, API Keys).

Cloud Platforms: Practical experience managing and deploying services on at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure). This includes familiarity with core compute, database, and networking services within that platform.

  • Containerization: Proficient with Docker for containerizing applications.
  • Experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes.

Database Knowledge: Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra). Version Control: Expert-level proficiency with Git. Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points):

  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Familiarity with messaging queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito, Spock).
  • Knowledge of observability tools and practices (e.g., logging, metrics, tracing).
