Data Engineer ETL

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product management and business partners to understand and implement use case requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using industry-standard tools.
- Optimize complex SQL queries for efficient data processing and transformation.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across various systems.
- Participate in Agile methodologies, including Scrum ceremonies, to ensure iterative development and delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to maintain seamless operations.
Skills
- Proven experience in data engineering and ETL/ELT development.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools like IBM DataStage or similar platforms.
- Solid knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting.
- Experience with job scheduling tools such as Control-M.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and performance tuning.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Greenplum or other MPP databases.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
