What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

As an Associate Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Assisting and educating members, providers, or customers on our health insurance products and plans through various communication channels, including phone, email, and chat
  • Ensuring accuracy and timeliness in responding to inquiries and processing customer issues
  • Documenting interactions and correspondence clearly and concisely for tracking purposes
  • Navigating multiple systems and internal resources to address inquiries and gather plan details
  • Maintaining knowledge of insurance terms, practices, and company products while working under direct supervision

What's Required (Qualifications)

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED with 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field
  • 1 year of experience in an office-based setting or contact center environment is highly preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Technology savvy with the ability to navigate multiple computer programs and application systems
  • A private workspace and fast-paced internet with a hard-wired connection
