Job Summary

We're seeking a part-time Customer Support Specialist to join our team during evening hours. As a customer support specialist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by resolving product or service issues, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve issues, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution. This part-time position is perfect for those who enjoy problem-solving and have a passion for serving customers.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat
  • Investigating and resolving customer complaints and resolving them promptly
  • Providing accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism with customers and working to establish a positive rapport with every caller
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues
  • Staying up-to-date with product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers
  • Meeting and exceeding customer satisfaction targets
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to improve customer service skills

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations appropriately
  • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using software applications

Preferred Experience

Previous customer service experience would be a significant advantage, but we're open to training the right candidate. If you have experience in a customer-facing role, you'll have a head start in this position.
