Position Summary

We are currently recruiting for a Territory Manager, contract position, to help support customers in Richmond Hill, Markham and Barrie. Reporting into the Regional Business Manager, the Territory Manager will be responsible for achieving sales quotas, including market volume, market share, and other business-related goals. This individual will be responsible for managing all territory duties with the goal of increasing recommendations for OneTouch products.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include

  • Developing and executing a business plan that helps drive the sale of LifeScan products within a defined sales territory
  • Identifying and cultivating relationships with pharmacists, nurses, and physicians to help increase recommendations
  • Leveraging marketing initiatives, sales strategies, and company resources to enhance overall business results
  • Executing POA direction to meet and exceed company forecasted goals
  • Utilizing territory budgets to secure incremental merchandising activity and other pharmacy programs
  • Coordinating promotional events to enhance awareness of product benefits
  • Creating, updating & executing territory business plans, focusing on uncovering potential opportunities for new business development

Key Experience Requirements

About you

Ideally, you will be qualified to a degree level in a related discipline (Business, Health Science, Business Administration or Commerce), or have equivalent, demonstrable levels of work experience.

We are looking for a dynamic individual who is goal oriented, and excels at building, maintaining, and influencing strong internal and external stakeholder relationships by actively listening and responding to the needs of our customers. Ideally, we are looking for someone who has a passion for sales coupled with:

  • 2+ years of healthcare and/or B2B (business to business) sales experience
  • Strong negotiation and influencing sales skills
  • Ability to manage change, resolve issues and address business and customer gaps
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive attitude
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to consistently meet all customer demands
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills required to relate effectively with fellow employees, patients, and health care professionals
  • Understanding the importance of deadlines and stays on top of all administrative duties
  • Proficiency in email, database management (call reporting/tracking) Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • As driving is an essential requirement of the role, a safe driving record as per Lifescan Fleet guidelines is required
  • Candidates who reside in and have local market knowledge are preferred
