Key Responsibilities:

* Connect directly with customers who reach out to us for various reasons, from finding their new pet to resolving issues with their orders.

  • Conduct thorough examinations and issue resolution to provide suitable solutions to customers, think proactively, and schedule follow-up calls as needed to ensure issue resolution.
  • Work with empathy, attention, persistence, sympathy, and thoughtfulness to customers and colleagues alike.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow, sharing feedback and receiving input from colleagues and leaders.
  • Collaborate with partners, your immediate supervisor, and other colleagues across various levels of the organization using virtual collaboration tools like Zoom, Slack, and webcams to contribute to an engaging customer-driven culture of collaboration.

Essential Qualifications:

* 2 years of customer service experience

  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) in a written evaluation.
  • Ability to multitask (e.g., keep a phone conversation while searching on the computer and taking notes) and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using computers, both for data entry and navigation through systems and the web to find information to support customers.
  • Ability to adapt to change with the business needs of the organization.
  • Flexibility to adjust your schedule and work beyond 40 hours as needed by the team.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass a personal background check
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information

Technical Requirements:

* A dedicated workspace that is large enough to accommodate computer screens and free from distractions, including any background noise that may impact the customer experience.

  • A workspace suitable for webcam use.
  • A strong, wired, high-speed internet connection (30 Mbps+ download speed/10 Mbps+ upload speed). You can test your internet speed at speedtest.net or by contacting your internet service provider.
  • A wireless or tablet device that can be used for two-factor authentication through Okta Confirm.
