Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist Location: Taylor, TX & Pflugerville, TX (Fully Onsite) We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to support semiconductor manufacturing operations in a dynamic, high-risk production environment. This role requires a hands-on professional who is comfortable working onsite and performing regular in-fab safety walks at client facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain EHS programs within semiconductor manufacturing environments
  • Conduct routine in-fab safety walks and audits
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations
  • Implement and support safety management systems (e.g., ISO 45001)
  • Partner with operations and leadership to promote a strong safety culture
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate workplace hazards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5–12 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety roles
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing environments
  • Proven experience in high-risk environments (manufacturing, construction, or consulting)
  • Strong knowledge of safety management systems (ISO 45001 preferred)
  • Advanced certifications such as CSP, CIH, or NEBOSH Diploma highly preferred
  • Strong tenure and demonstrated career progression

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
  • Fully onsite role; must be comfortable commuting to Taylor, TX and Pflugerville, TX
  • Ability to perform regular in-fab walkthroughs in active manufacturing environments
