We're excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled Data Entry Specialist to join our Ring Information Warehouse team, working remotely and collaborating with partners to deliver exceptional results.
A Day in the Life
As a Data Entry Specialist on our team, you'll play a vital role in gathering and sharing requirements from business partners across various verticals, including Membership, Deals, Reverse Logistics, Finance, and more. You'll work closely with our team to design and implement new data ingestions using a combination of local AWS services and internal arenaflex devices. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining and improving existing data ingestions, ensuring they meet evolving guidelines and corporate standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Gather and share requirements from business partners across various verticals
- Design and implement new data ingestions using local AWS services and internal arenaflex devices
- Maintain and improve existing data ingestions to meet evolving guidelines and corporate standards
- Develop and maintain systems or tools for internal and external partner use to manage data
- Perform code reviews and ensure best practices are followed for ETL and data cleanliness by colleagues and supporting teams
About the Team
Our Ring Information Warehouse team is responsible for managing the unified data repository for Ring. We acquire and distribute data from various internal and external sources, which are used by different partners, such as Ring Product Design, Finance, Production, Marketing, Customer Service, and Sales Data. We're committed to recruiting talented individuals to join our team and contribute to our mission.
Fundamental Capabilities:
* 3+ years of experience in data engineering
- Experience with data visualization, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
- Experience with SQL
Preferred Capabilities:
* Experience with AWS services like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Fire Hose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
- Experience in at least one modern programming or scripting language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
- Experience with non-relational databases/data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases)
