What You'll Do

As a Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing top-notch service to customers via phone, online, and email, resolving complex issues and answering questions about annuities and other financial products
  • Collaborating with a team to achieve customer satisfaction and loyalty goals
  • Learning and retaining a large amount of technical information about annuities and other financial products
  • Identifying and addressing customer needs, offering tailored solutions to improve financial wellness
  • Working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, thinking on your feet and adapting to changing situations
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

  • A four-year college degree, or equivalent experience
  • Strong people skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and a team
  • Proven record of dependability, with punctual and reliable attendance
  • Annuity/financial services industry knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to learn and retain complex technical information about annuities and other financial products
  • Proficiency with a keyboard and window-based applications, including Internet
  • Proven self-motivation skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Active listening skills, with the ability to think like the customer and financial professional
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to excel in a team environment, with a strong work ethic and commitment to achieving customer satisfaction and loyalty goals

Additional Requirements

As a remote worker, you'll need to:

  • Have a reliable internet connection with at least 25 Mbps download speeds
  • Use a USB wired headset with a noise cancellation feature
  • Have a quiet and distraction-free workspace
  • Be able to handle calls with a cell phone or landline, with unlimited data and minutes
  • Be available to work a variety of shift times, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings
