arenaflex is seeking an experienced Senior Director, Global Head, Adversarial Abuse/Analytics to join our Trust and Wellbeing team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the Adversarial Abuse group in identifying and eliminating malicious actors attempting account takeovers, spam, commitment misuse, and other forms of abuse. Additionally, you will oversee the Business Investigation group, responsible for producing insights, estimating uncaught badnesses, and distributing Transparency Reports for countries worldwide. Job Responsibilities:

As the Senior Director, Global Head, Adversarial Abuse/Analytics, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

  • Lead the Adversarial Abuse group in identifying and eliminating malicious actors attempting account takeovers, spam, commitment misuse, and other forms of abuse.
  • Oversee the Business Investigation group, responsible for producing insights, estimating uncaught badnesses, and distributing Transparency Reports for countries worldwide.
  • Collaborate with the Strategy Development team to create approaches using account, social, and content signals to describe harmful behavior.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to prevent and mitigate adversarial abuse, including account takeovers, spam, and commitment misuse.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Design, to develop and implement tools and solutions to prevent and mitigate adversarial abuse.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members, including setting goals, objectives, and performance expectations.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and collaboration within the team, and encourage experimentation and learning.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, product managers, and engineers, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging threats, and develop strategies to address these threats.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science, mathematics, or statistics.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a related field, including risk management, data analysis, and leadership.
  • 2 years of experience working with designing teams that form data infrastructure and ML models.
  • 2 years of experience driving teams with the ability to work non-standard weeks of work as accelerations require.
  • Strong background in data analysis, including experience with SQL, R, and Matlab.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, including the ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong business judgment, including the ability to use data to drive strategy and business decisions.
  • Experience with machine learning and natural language processing is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Postgraduate education in a related field, such as computer science, mathematics, or statistics.

  • 2 years of experience with investigation of large datasets and anomaly detection.
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in adversarial abuse activities.
  • Strong understanding of SQL, R, and Matlab, including experience with data visualization and machine learning.
  • Excellent impacting and leader relational skills, including the ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong business judgment, including the ability to use data to drive strategy and business decisions.
