A highly respected California law firm with a longstanding reputation in complex litigation and real estate matters is seeking a Litigation Associate (2–6 years) to join its growing team. This role focuses on eminent domain and real estate-related litigation, offering attorneys the opportunity to work on sophisticated matters involving public agencies, developers, and private entities across California. The Role You will work on a variety of litigation matters related to real estate and eminent domain, including:

  • Eminent domain and inverse condemnation cases
  • Real estate and land use disputes
  • Complex litigation matters involving public and private entities
  • Drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery
  • Taking depositions and attending court appearances

Requirements

  • 2–6 years of general litigation experience
  • Strong skills in legal writing, research, and analytical work
  • Experience drafting motions, handling discovery, and attending court proceedings
  • Licensed to practice law in California

Preferred Experience

  • Background in real estate, land use, or eminent domain litigation
  • Experience handling complex litigation matters
  • Ability to take early responsibility and manage client interaction
