Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacist (Work From Home) – Full-Time Compensation: $53/hour Schedule Options:
- Monday–Friday: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (local time)
- OR Sunday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (local time)
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Remote Pharmacist to join a dynamic healthcare team focused on prior authorization review. In this fully remote position, you will play a critical role in evaluating medication requests and ensuring compliance with established clinical guidelines and policies. Key Responsibilities
- Review and process prior authorization requests in accordance with clinical criteria and internal policies
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely decision-making
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve authorization-related inquiries
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all data privacy standards
Qualifications
Required:
- Active pharmacist license in state of residence (must be current and verifiable)
- Strong attention to detail and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred:
- 1+ year of prior authorization experience within a PBM setting
- Strong retail pharmacy background
- Pharmacy Manager experience OR
- Staff Pharmacist experience (2+ years with the same employer)
New Graduates Welcome If You Have:

- Residency or fellowship training

- Have not frequently changed roles every 4–12 months

Remote Work Requirements
