Product Owner

Why this role matters

This is not a typical Product Owner role. You’ll own a product that directly impacts thousands of agents across multiple African markets, influencing how money moves, how people get paid, and how businesses grow.

What you’ll do

Own the product, end-to-end

• Drive the Agent Operations product roadmap
• Balance long-term strategy with day-to-day delivery
• Ensure your team is always working on the right priorities

Turn ideas into reality

• Translate business needs into clear user stories and backlog items
• Work closely with developers to bring features to life
• Ensure what gets built actually solves real problems

Be the voice of the user

• Understand how agents use the system on the ground
• Make decisions that improve their experience and performance

Work across teams and markets

• Collaborate with operations, country teams, and leadership
• Support product rollout across different African regions
• Manage dependencies across multiple product streams

Drive impact, not just delivery

• Ensure features are not just built, but adopted and used
• Communicate progress, trade-offs, and priorities clearly

What you bring

• 3+ years’ experience as a Product Owner or similar role
• Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Ability to turn complex ideas into simple, actionable solutions
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• A business mindset, you think about outcomes, not just tasks
