Next Perimeter is a managed IT and cybersecurity company based in Tampa, seeking an IT Technician to provide technical support for users. The role involves troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues while maintaining accurate records of client interactions and technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls from users, asking appropriate questions to understand their problems, and logging tickets in our ticketing system
  • Provide troubleshooting and support for both Windows and Mac operating systems, including Microsoft 365 products
  • Deliver remote technical support to clients to resolve hardware and software issues promptly and effectively
  • Conduct thorough system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and problem-solving to identify root causes and prevent future issues
  • Assist with email issues and password resets
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate deliverables, timelines, and technical requirements
  • Document and maintain accurate records of client interactions, technical solutions, and configurations for future reference

Skills

  • Strong expertise in configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting various hardware and software solutions
  • Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows and macOS
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and cloud technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
