Experienced Data Entry Specialist – Customer Order Processing and Administrative Support

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Experienced Data Entry Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer orders, verifying data, and maintaining the integrity of our customer database. You will also provide administrative support to the team, including filing, copying, and other tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:

* Read and process customer orders submitted in person, via print catalog, and online, deciphering handwriting and other challenging data sources

• Key data into specific Microsoft Excel fields, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the system
• Verify data accuracy before entering it into the system, identifying and reporting any errors or anomalies to your supervisor
• Maintain accurate and updated logs of ongoing work, ensuring seamless tracking and reporting
• Perform filing, copying, and other administrative duties for approximately three hours per day
• Spend approximately five hours daily on data entry keying, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks

Requirements:

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

• Strong reading comprehension and critical thinking skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and supervisors
• Patience and attention to detail, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and efficiently
• Reading knowledge of English, with the ability to understand and process data in Spanish (approximately 5-10% of orders)
• One to two years of experience in data entry and/or filing, with a strong understanding of data management principles
• Strong social perceptiveness and service orientation, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
