Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, processing orders, and meeting their needs through various channels, including faxes and internet orders. You'll work closely with our team to ensure seamless communication, resolve issues promptly, and drive sales growth through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

Essential Functions

* Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and chat, ensuring timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries

  • Process orders, credits, and special requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Follow all applicable standard work procedures and guidelines, including 5S principles
  • Place orders via the custom order entry system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Process credits, specialty item action items, and special pricing requests to the pricing team
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our product lines, including doors, drawer fronts, glass doors, French lites, drawer boxes, moldings, and accessory items
  • Familiarize yourself with our Ready To Assemble (RTA) cabinet line and basic specialty items
  • Learn and master our system requirements, including custom order entry, CRM, email, shipping, and Anytime

Knowledge, Skill, and Experience

* High school diploma or equivalent required; college graduate preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service or sales, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and products
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders and credits

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the industry or a related field

  • Familiarity with CRM software and email marketing platforms
  • Basic understanding of shipping and logistics procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in additional software applications, such as Google Suite or Salesforce
