Experienced PC Hardware Data Entry Specialist – Electronic Evidence Management and Documentation

At arenaflex, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented PC Hardware Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. As a key member of our electronic evidence management team, you will play a critical role in reviewing and entering data for hardware devices, particularly hard disks, into our Excel files. Your expertise in data entry, computer hardware, and Excel skills will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our evidence management system.

Responsibilities

As a PC Hardware Data Entry Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining the chain of custody of electronic devices received from employees internally or through the mail
• Reviewing digital evidence stored on hard drives and ensuring the data matches inventory log
• Preparing Excel documents following specific templates to upload to our web-based evidence management system
• Reviewing data entered into the web-based evidence system to ensure upload of data is correct
• Verifying that the documentation and electronic devices match what is being reported and what is received
• High-volume data input from documentation received, such as an employee's name and identifier, by handwriting and into a computer application used for tracking purposes
• Maintaining awareness and following data handling, safety, and security policy and procedures

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Mostly a Data Entry job with some knowledge of computer hardware (especially plug-in/plug-out hard drives, etc.)
• Strong Excel skills and previous Data Entry experience is required
• Basic understanding of data privacy
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

* Data Entry: High-speed data entry with accuracy and attention to detail

• Documentation: Ability to review and verify documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Computer Hardware: Knowledge of computer hardware, particularly hard drives and plug-in/plug-out devices
• Excel: Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting
• Data Privacy: Basic understanding of data privacy principles and regulations

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with electronic evidence management systems

• Knowledge of data handling, safety, and security policy and procedures
• Certification in data entry or a related field
