Manager, Enterprise Communications

Remote · USA Full-time New today

We are seeking a highly organized, enterprise-minded communicator to serve as Manager, Enterprise Communications. This role sits at the intersection of executive messaging, operational excellence, and enterprise visibility. This role will be responsible for orchestrating what is being communicated, when, and to whom—ensuring senior leaders, teams, and functions are aligned, informed, and positioned to engage effectively.  This is a hands-on role that combines content execution with calendar ownership and coordination across the enterprise. The ideal candidate brings structure to complexity, translates executive priorities into actionable communication plans, and ensures leadership moments land with clarity and impact.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Communications Planning & Calendar Ownership

  • Own and manage the enterprise communications content calendar, ensuring clear sequencing, prioritization, and alignment across channels, functions, and leadership voices.
  • Maintain an enterprise-wide leadership and team event calendar highlighting major moments such as leadership summits, functional offsites, and large-scale meetings.
  • Serve as the central point of coordination to reduce overlap, avoid message fatigue, and elevate the impact of key enterprise moments.

Executive & Enterprise Content Execution

  • Lead execution of enterprise and executive communications across internal platforms.
  • Partner with senior leaders, the Chief of Staff, and key stakeholders to translate priorities into clear, compelling messaging.
  • Support leadership visibility moments with tightly coordinated messaging and delivery plans.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner closely with HR, Marketing, and other key functions to align messaging and timelines.
  • Act as connective tissue across functions—bringing awareness of enterprise activity, upcoming milestones, and leadership presence into communications planning.

Editorial Excellence & Quality Control

  • Serve as an editor and quality steward for enterprise communications—ensuring clarity, tone, consistency, and alignment.
  • Maintain organized repositories of messaging frameworks, templates, and enterprise communication assets.

Operational Rigor & Insight

  • Continuously improve processes, tools, and rhythms that help the enterprise communicate more effectively and efficiently.

Who You Are

  • A detail-oriented communicator who thrives on structure, sequencing, and clarity.
  • Comfortable working directly with senior leaders while staying grounded in execution.
  • Known for anticipating conflicts, connecting dots across teams, and bringing order to complexity.
  • A proactive collaborator who balances diplomacy with follow-through.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business Management or related field – or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5-8+ years in communications or internal communications, with prior roles in healthcare or technology-driven organizations.

Skills & Abilities

    • Proven experience managing communication calendars, workflows, and multi-stakeholder execution.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with sound editorial judgment.
    • Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced, executive-facing environment

Other Requirements

  • Ability to provide personal transportation from time to time.
  • Occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds.
