Key Responsibilities

As a Sterile Processing Customer Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert training and support to hospitals in the Detroit area on proper sterile processing techniques, including best practices for instrument preparation, sterilization, and storage.
  • Identifying cost containment opportunities and contributing to process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Collaborating with surgical technicians, nurses, and doctors to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Conducting site visits to assess sterile processing operations and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 4 years of related experience, ideally in a clinical environment
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and develop effective solutions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and collaboration
