Job Summary

The Digital and Social Media Supervisor has the task of guiding the digital presence of Istituto Marangoni Milano Design on social media, with the aim of strengthening the brand identity, increasing the visibility of the institute and actively involving the communities of students, alumni, teachers and partners. Through a coherent, creative and data-driven editorial strategy, the figure will contribute to the promotion of the educational offer, the enhancement of academic projects and the construction of an authentic dialogue with a global audience. 

Key Purpose of the Job 

  • Develop and implement the social media strategy (organic and ADV) in line with the brand identity and objectives of Istituto Marangoni Milano Design
  • Manage the social editorial plan in collaboration with the agency and ensure it is adhered to
  • Supervise the production and publication of content for the website and social channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) 
  • Coordinate the internal and external social team (graphic designers, photographers, videomakers and copywriters)
  • Monitoring performance of content and campaigns through analytics tools, optimising activities based on data with bi-weekly reports
  • Strategic and operational management of influencer marketing activities: scouting, selecting and coordinating creators, defining briefs, supervising content and campaigns in line with brand positioning
  • Monitoring performance, producing reports and analysing results; identifying emerging trends and development opportunities to optimise activities and maximise the impact of collaborations 
  • Develop and implement the web strategy, in line with Istituto Marangoni Milano Design's brand identity and objectives, in collaboration with the headquarter digital team
  • Manage the web editorial plan in collaboration with the headquarter digital team and ensure it is adhered to
  • Manage editorial calendars and ensure consistency of tone of voice.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Admission, Director of Education, Student Care, Events &PR) to promote Istituto Marangoni Milano Design community activities and projects
  • Monitor digital trends, competitive benchmarks and best practices in the education and design sector. 

Required Skills & Qualifications 

  • Degree in Communication, Marketing, Digital Media or related.
  • At least 3 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in international environments and in the design sector.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language  
  • Good knowledge of the main social platforms and related management tools  
  • Analytical skills and ability to read data and KPIs
  • Creativity, precision and strong detail orientation
  • Aptitude for teamwork and ability to manage projects independently
  • Interest in the world of design, creativity and education .
