Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector (NGDS) is seeking a Finance Manager - Manager Level 1 to join the Accounting Operations team. This position is 100% remote and reports directly to the Accounting Operations Manager.

Responsibilities include:

  • Internal and external support for compliance audits
  • International accounting (Balance Sheet & P/L analytics)
  • Support the international inter-company invoicing/accounting processes
  • Serves as a point of contact with Corporate Treasury on international banking activity
  • Journal entry processing
  • Support/problem resolution
  • Special projects

Basic Qualifications for Finance Manager - Manager Level 1:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related experience in finance, accounting, or program control – OR – Master’s degree with 3+ years of related experience in finance, accounting, or program control
  • Well-organized, schedule driven and ability to multi-task to meet tight deadlines
  • Experience in presenting financial data to senior leadership
  • Strong analytical skills to support reporting requirements
  • Problem Solving:  Identify root cause, analyze solutions, implement effective changes
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience and success interfacing with multiple disciplines and varying levels of management
  • Prior experience and exposure to inter-company international accounting
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
Primary Level Salary Range: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
