[Remote] Marketing and Communications Specialist

ASNT is a leading organization in nondestructive testing, and they are seeking a Marketing and Communications Specialist to develop and execute marketing projects that enhance brand awareness and communication initiatives. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing deliverables are accurate and aligned with strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in planning content calendars and partner closely with social, email, and creative team members to ensure content is engaging, informative, and on-brand
  • Collaborate across departments to produce content that elevates ASNT's products and services
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand and style guidelines across all marketing deliverables
  • Produce a wide range of email campaigns, data hygiene, list management, segmentation, reporting, and performance optimization
  • Manage email production timelines to ensure deadlines are met
  • Develop social media copy and design creatives under the supervision of the Digital Marketing Manager
  • Write engaging social media and email copy, alongside monitoring social channels to manage community interactions such as tags, comments, and messages
  • Schedule and publish social media posts in alignment with defined workflows and timelines
  • Monitor platform performance and make adjustments as needed for optimization
  • Enforce ASNT brand standards by addressing external trademark, logo, and name infringements
  • Execute social listening strategies to monitor brand sentiment, track competitor activity, and identify emerging industry trends
  • Proactively bring forward new ideas and creative approaches to elevate content

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, public relations, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop clear and compelling marketing and business communications
  • Ability to present and communicate new ideas and concepts
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to gather, review, and synthesize information from multiple sources
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and subject matter experts
  • Familiarity with coordinating and executing digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing and social media
  • Familiarity with marketing content development, such as marketing collateral or digital content
  • Ability to track, analyze, and report on campaign performance
  • Must be adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Canva
  • Working knowledge of marketing automation platforms used to support email campaigns and digital communications (HubSpot experience a bonus)
  • Video marketing experience is a bonus
  • Data-driven but creatively wired with familiarity with Google Analytics
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated with a strong ownership mindset
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with multiple departments
  • Organized and capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Energized by a very fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • We welcome recent college graduates with marketing experience gained through at least two to three semesters of co-ops or internships
