About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Representative I to join our PFS team in a remote capacity. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient experiences, resolving billing issues, and driving patient satisfaction. Job Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative I, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting patients in resolving billing issues, handling complaints, and setting up payment plans
  • Documenting customer complaints and interactions in the appropriate systems
  • Tracking trends in customer service encounters and recommending resolutions to supervisors
  • Providing training and support to new Customer Service Representative I colleagues
  • Communicating and following up with stakeholders on customer service activities

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High school diploma or Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • Up to 3 years of experience in revenue cycle functions within a healthcare setting
  • Previous service or call center experience with strong customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience in a complex, multi-site environment
  • Completion of regulatory/mandatory certifications and skills validation competencies
  • Strong interpersonal skills in interacting with diverse customers
