Key Responsibilities

As a customer service representative in a contractor role, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Interacting with customers primarily through inbound phone calls, chat, and email to resolve their queries and concerns
  • Providing exceptional customer care and delivering outstanding service experiences
  • Utilizing problem-solving skills to resolve complex customer issues
  • Maintaining a friendly, empathetic tone, and professional demeanor throughout customer interactions
  • Working collaboratively with clients to understand their needs and preferences
  • Meeting or exceeding performance metrics and client expectations

Schedule and Earnings

* Majority of work hours are during weekdays and daytime

  • Opportunity to create a work schedule that works best for you (within client / contract hours of operation)
  • Contract earnings vary by client, with rates ranging from $14 to $20 per hour
  • Pay is determined by your phone status when assisting customers
  • Additional incentives available based on client and performance metrics

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed as a customer service representative in a contractor role, you'll need:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record in customer service and delivering outstanding customer care
  • Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
  • Friendly, empathetic tone, and professional demeanor
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful mindset
  • Proficient in using technology, including computer applications and software

Technology and Equipment Requirements

To ensure seamless connectivity and clear communication, you'll need:

  • A quiet and secure work environment during working hours
  • A personal computer with a minimum of 8GB RAM (tablets and Chromebooks are not permitted)
  • A wired USB headset with microphone for clear communication
  • High-speed wired internet with a minimum of 10 Mbps download speed and 5 Mbps upload speed for seamless connectivity
  • A smartphone, Android tablet, or iPad for program work, along with an authentication app
  • Valid and up-to-date antivirus software installed
  • An operating system of Windows 11 (some clients may accept AppleOS)

Work Environment Requirements

To provide exceptional customer service, you'll need:

  • A quiet, uninterrupted space
  • An organized desk area

Contractual Relationship

As an independent contractor with arenaflex, you'll remain responsible for your own taxes, benefits, and work-related expenses. arenaflex will not be responsible for withholding taxes on your earnings while contracted with us. When you receive your contract, you'll be asked to agree to have no claim against arenaflex for vacation pay, sick leave, retirement benefits, Social Security, worker's compensation, health or disability benefits, overtime, unemployment insurance benefits, or employee benefits of any kind.
