Experienced Full Stack Customer Service Specialist – Healthcare Insurance and Order Support

We're seeking mission-driven, compassionate, and engaging individuals to join our Customer Experience team as Customer Order Insurance Specialists. In this role, you'll provide a world-class customer experience to recipients, patients, clinicians, consumers, caregivers, and family members of recipients as a member of our call center team.

What You'll Do

As a Customer Order Insurance Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and support to customers throughout their Cochlear journey, including insurance, products, services, ordering, and billing.
  • Becoming a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them through the insurance process, including eligibility requirements, Insurance Intake Forms, Assignment of Benefits, and more.
  • Working cross-functionally with internal partners, such as Supply Chain, Reimbursement Operations, and Billing & Collections, to deliver quality outcomes for customers.
  • Utilizing technical aptitude and multitasking skills to navigate multiple systems and tools, ensuring seamless customer interactions.
  • Effectively communicating with customers via phone, email, and chat in a call center environment, using strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • A drive to go above and beyond to serve customers, with a deep understanding of the needs of hearing-impaired individuals.
  • The ability to guide and educate customers on insurance, orders, service, and billing-related inquiries.
  • Technical aptitude and multitasking skills to navigate multiple systems and tools.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers in a call center environment.

How You'll Work

As a remote Customer Order Insurance Specialist, you'll:

  • Work from the comfort of your own home, with paid training to ensure your success.
  • Be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration and open communication.
  • Enjoy a flexible schedule, with hours of operation from 6:00am to 6:00pm Mountain Time, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturday shifts from 8:00am - 12:00pm Mountain Time.

Education and Experience Requirements

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma and 2 Years of experience in healthcare customer service.

Physical and Mental Demands

As a Customer Order Insurance Specialist, you'll be required to:

  • Spend most of your time in a stationary position, utilizing business technology for work product delivery and communicating with others.
  • Utilize problem-solving and critical thinking skills to discern and convey information.
  • Comprehend and apply product specifications, procedures, and processes to customers.
