Key Responsibilities:

• Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail/distribution centers
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns; perform preventative maintenance
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trailers, documenting any defects
• Plan routes effectively and meet delivery schedules
• Document and log work/rest periods accurately
• Comply with all truck driving regulations and rules
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report any defects, accidents, or violations immediately

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum of 2 years proven truck driving experience
• Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, ELD, TMS)
• Willingness to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Extensive knowledge of relevant trucking rules and regulations
• No DUI or major driving violations
• Ability to adapt and respond to unexpected situations (traffic, weather, etc.)
• Must be willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations
