Key Responsibilities
As a Cargo Agent, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service to customers via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Processing and handling cargo shipments, including checking in and out cargo, handling customs clearance, and resolving any issues that may arise
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation, including cargo manifests, customs forms, and other relevant documents
- Collaborating with other teams, including operations, customer service, and logistics, to ensure seamless cargo transportation
- Staying up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and regulations, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

What We're Looking For
We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cargo Agent. To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age and authorization to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license
- Basic digital literacy and typing skills
- Ability to frequently lift tools, supplies, or items weighing up to and including 50 pounds
- Pass a physical ability test (PAT)
- Willingness to wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, previous experience in cargo freight and warehouse operations, as well as typing/computer skills, are strongly preferred.
