They are seeking an Accountant & GL Specialist responsible for maintaining the general ledger, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements and reports, and assisting with audits and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the general ledger
  • Reconciling accounts
  • Preparing financial statements and reports
  • Assisting with audits and regulatory compliance
  • Monitoring incoming and outgoing transactions
  • Ensuring accurate financial records
  • Assisting with budgeting
  • Collaborating across departments to maintain precision in financial processes

Skills

  • Proficiency in General Ledger Maintenance, Journal Entries, Financial Reporting, and Reconciliation
  • Knowledge of Accounting Principles, Account Analysis, and Budgeting Processes
  • Experience with Financial Software, Data Management, and Payroll Processing
  • Strong Analytical, Organizational, and Problem-Solving Skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience in the financial services industry or credit union environment
