PVE Systems Integration Engineer I
Daimler Truck North America is a leader in innovative solutions for sustainable and future driving technology. The PVE Systems Integration Engineer I will focus on validating feature content for transmissions and aftertreatments across various vehicle platforms, including writing test cases and performing root cause analysis during vehicle testing.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle integration validation for vehicle software features
- Write and execute test cases and report on issues found during vehicle testing
- Document issues in JIRA and track them along with design counterparts to closure
- Participate in ongoing continuous improvement activities within the vehicle integration test department
- Perform troubleshooting activities during vehicle preparation phase to ensure our test platforms are ready for validation
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or Computer Engineering
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks on hand
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to create an overview of testing required and present as a plan
- Ability to develop conclusions from validation of features, report results and track issues
- Ability to work with vehicle based measurement systems and logging devices
- Ability to obtain a commercial driver's license
- Previous experience with CANalyzer or other CAN based tools
- Previous vehicle development or validation experience and knowledge of automotive systems
