We are looking for an experienced personal attorney in the Jackson, MS area who wants to BE THEIR VOICE—an attorney who wants to be the voice of fairness, of justice, for our clients who have been wronged. The litigation attorney is the quarterback. You are the person who is the ZEALOUS advocate for your client, you must be their voice. You push their case, pursue their interest, adapt to the adversarial relationship from the other side. It is about getting the best outcome you possibly can, the best outcome for our clients.

You are expected to

• Settle cases for maximum benefit to our clients
• Win trials
• Regularly communicate with clients and ensure exceptional client satisfaction.
• Turnaround high volumes of cases efficiently; efficiency is essential.
• Set expectations. Never overpromise but always overdeliver.

Responsibilities

• Building the value of the cases
• Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
• Work with experts, generating and tending relationships with experts so that we can prove our case.
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memorandum.
• Court Appearances/Court Hearings/Oral Arguments

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing with the Mississippi Bar
• Flexible, able to adapt to rapid change.
• Organized and disciplined, able to keep up with the operational side of the organization.
• Excellent client service skills
• Kind/empathetic, able to work with difficult clients.
• Positive, able to maintain a positive environment and culture.
• ·Crisis de-escalation, calm under fire.
• Responsive, requires a lot of phone time.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to manage high volume of cases.
•  Superior writing and oral communication skills

This is a full-time in-office assignment that allows the employee residing in the Jackson, MS area to work remotely.  The corporate office is located at:

Periodic visits to the corporate office would be expected and approved travel expenses would be paid by the RLF
