Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals and project timelines.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to achieve best value.
  • Manage purchase orders, supplier relationships, and material delivery schedules.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other departments to understand material needs and specifications.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to identify potential risks and opportunities in procurement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, government regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of procurement procedures, contract management, and supply chain processes.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and make strategic purchasing decisions.
  • Outstanding organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
