What you will do

• Security Integration: Incorporate security practices and tools throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring that security is prioritized from the initial design stages through deployment and maintenance.
• Automation: Implement and maintain automated security testing, compliance checks and monitoring within CI/CD pipelines to ensure consistent and efficient security practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations and security teams to foster a culture of shared responsibility for security and integrate security best practices across the organization.
• Incident Response: Monitor, analyze and respond to security incidents promptly, implementing measures to prevent future occurrences and continuously improving response strategies.

How do you know you are the right fit

• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Typescript, Python, Shell) and DevOps tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Pulumi/Terraform).
• Security Knowledge: Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat modeling, risk assessment techniques and familiarity with the latest security threats and trends.
• Cloud Security Skills: Experience in securing cloud environments, including knowledge of major cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure (preferred), Google Cloud) and cloud-native security tools.
• Container and Microservices Security: Expertise in securing containerized environments and microservices architectures, including knowledge of container security tools and best practices for orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Advanced Degree: A Master's/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field, with a focus on cybersecurity or software engineering.
