This is a remote position.

We are looking for a talented audio editor as our go-to source for audio editing needs on the projects. To guarantee that expectations and timelines are followed, the audio editor must be experienced in the post-production process. The ideal applicant will have prior experience editing audio-books and podcasts. The ideal applicant will have a keen eye for quality and detail and will strive to ensure that every audio production produced meets our exacting standards. They must be able to handle many projects at varying states of completion at the same time. An capacity to prioritize, as well as organizational and collaboration abilities, is required.

Audio Editor Responsibilities:
  • Sync audio vocals with the mouth movements in the video.
  • Perform in all aspects of audio recording, editing, mixing and finishing.
  • Edit and clean raw audio files (remove noise, glitches, inconsistencies, mistakes, etc.).
  • Work closely with production team to meet deadlines.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining the sound, tone, and style of shows.
  • Close attention to quality and improvement of sound dynamics.
  • Creativity is encouraged.
  • Ability to work fast and on deadline.
  • Implement templates to be used as much as possible for maximum efficiency.
  • Organize tracking system to maintain accountability for recordings and ensure finished recordings are delivered on deadline.

Requirements

M2, M1 or Intel Dual Core i5 or faster processor Minimum : 8 GB RAM Minimum : 2GB Graphics support Dual Monitor Displays Setup Fast internet Audio Editor Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Recording Arts or related field
  • Proficient in music and video editing software
  • Technical skill in mixing, scoring, and editing.
  • A portfolio of previous work.
  • Detail-oriented
  • Can easily identify different notes and melodies
  • Creative thinker
  • A good ear for musical tones.
  • The ability to balance audio and visuals effectively.
  • Prior experience in music editing preferred
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
