[Remote] Associate Account Development Sales - Automotive Software

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CDK Global is a leading provider of cloud-based software to dealerships and OEMs across the automotive industry. The Associate Account Development Executive will assist Senior Account Development Executives in uncovering sales opportunities, conducting pre-sales discovery, and managing sales administrative functions to increase revenue generation.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in the sales discovery process, helping to uncover prospect/customer’s business objectives, challenges and issues
  • Assists in responding to functional and technical elements of RFPs (requests for proposal)
  • Works with internal teams through the sales and implementation process, coordinating activities
  • Works to understand & navigate CDK’s Culture, internal network of resources, tools, and processes
  • Contributes to documentation and recording of activities per established best practices
  • Serves as a liaison between sales and other business units, in assigning and executing various sales administrative requests
  • Gains an understanding of the industry segment and keep abreast of competitor developments
  • Work with internal and external teams to ensure successful onboarding and rollout of solutions sold

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, ability to prioritize and use time effectively and efficiently
  • Demonstrated ability to meet internal and external deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and understandable manner
  • Ability to negotiate resources and priorities with multiple stakeholders in order to drive results
  • Willing/Able to travel up to 50%
  • Level of comfort with digital technology solutions
  • Be prepared to relocate if the opportunity for further advancement presents itself
