Associate Human Resources Advisor

The Associate Human Resources Advisor provides support in various HR areas, focusing on employee relations, performance management, and compensation, while collaborating with different HR functions to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Act as first point of contact for employees to assist with employee-related issues
  • Advise employees on how to navigate workplace matters, partnering with Legal as needed
  • Educate employees on the enforcement of firmwide policies and procedures
  • Work with Senior HR Advisor and managers to appropriately manage the employee onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Conduct exit interviews with departing employees and share key takeaways with managers
  • Provide ongoing guidance on performance-related matters to managers and employees, particularly during firmwide formal review cycles occurring at the mid-year and year-end marks
  • Advise managers on delivering performance feedback and using performance to inform promotion and year-end compensation decisions
  • Partner with Senior Human Resources Advisor on employee investigations
  • Communicate and process staffing-related personnel changes (e.g., relocations, transfers, organization structural changes)
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team on compensation and the candidate offer process
  • Collaborate with Senior HR Advisor to participate in annual compensation surveys and to analyze results
  • Assist in guiding business heads through year-end compensation decisions
  • Partner with Senior HR Advisor, HRIS, and Compensation teams on the year-end process (compensation, promotions, ratings) to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Work on special projects

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 0-2 years of experience working in Human Resources, experience in the financial services is preferred
  • Commitment to safeguarding highly sensitive and confidential matters

  • Ability to multi-task
