The Role
As a Part-Time Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our company databases. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining the database by entering new and updated customer and account information
- Preparing source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information
- Establishing entry priorities and processing customer and account source documents
- Reviewing data for deficiencies and resolving them using standard procedures
- Entering customer and account data accurately using keyboard or optical scanner
- Verifying entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or re-entering information
- Combining data from multiple systems when account information is incomplete
- Purging files to eliminate duplicate data
- Testing system changes and upgrades by inputting new data
- Securing information by completing database backups
