Key Responsibilities

As an Operations Technician at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects, including:

• Contributing to the deployment, maintenance, and support of cutting-edge data center infrastructure
• Participating in complex troubleshooting and resolving critical technical issues
• Testing and troubleshooting new server and network hardware components and designs
• Installing and maintaining switches, routers, and other large-scale networking equipment
• Configuring and troubleshooting Linux OS-related issues

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you'll need to have:

• Three years of experience in the upkeep and tracking of server systems, running systems, or networking protocols
• Experience in upkeep and tracking of server systems
• Experience in operating inside a data center or network operations center environment

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:

• Experience in operating with troubleshooting hardware or network-related issues using Linux-based tools
• Experience working autonomously and prioritizing multiple competing priorities
• Ability to collaborate and partner with people and teams to overcome challenges
• Ability to manage ambiguity and adjust priorities

About the Job

As an Operations Technician at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware (such as servers and their components) and server software (such as arenaflex's Linux cluster). You'll also take on the configuration of more complex components, including networks, routers, hubs, bridges, switches, and networking protocols. You'll participate in or lead small project teams on large installations and develop project contingency plans.
