[Remote] Virtual Account Executive - Indiana, Pennsylvania and Ohio

They are seeking a high-energy, driven Virtual Account Executive to identify opportunities, convert leads into partnerships, and drive revenue through value-driven networking solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities within existing accounts and net-new prospects
  • Drive revenue and margin growth by representing Extreme’s end-to-end portfolio, including Wired, Wireless, Network Management, and Security solutions
  • Actively hunt for new opportunities while expanding the existing install base
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly sales quotas aligned with corporate initiatives
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through outbound prospecting, cold calling, and account development
  • Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations that articulate business value
  • Develop and maintain accurate forecasts, business plans, and pipeline reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with cross-functional internal teams and channel partners
  • Stay current on Extreme offerings, competitive landscape, and industry trends
  • Participate in required training, certifications, workshops, and customer meetings (virtual and in-person as needed)

  • 1–2 years of sales experience preferred (SLED/or IT sales a plus)
  • Strong business planning, forecasting, and pipeline management skills
  • Solid understanding of competitive technologies and solution-based selling
  • Ability to articulate and position Extreme Networks' value-added differentiators
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet customers and partners
  • 1–2 years of sales experience preferred (SLED/or IT sales a plus)
